FINALLY! its the end of a boring week at work. This was a special week though, I was the lone person representing my entire team here in Pune, and this will continue until someone joins me, because I'am not going back to Noida, provided the liberty to do so. Apart from that there was no work (mind it, I am a workaholic and 'No Work' means work that regular people do on a routine day) No work makes me look incompetent, even though if it is for a day; because I have given up the practices (termed as BAD by management) of 'initiating' something extravagant for the project in hand. Stick to requirements, timelines and THE PROTOCOL. I don't understand "why" does our culture always want us to be in the box and then they recursively ask us to "think out of the box" isnt this double standards.
Anyway, I am not bothered by what people think, I have, atleast on my personal end done few things which made me satisfied this week, such as:
1. Started Blogging - Well, I am not sure till when can I continue doing this, but its indeed cool.
2. Speaking up - Finally, after a year and half, during this week I spoke to my manager about MYSELF (whenever I spoke, it was always either the project or others). Cleared up the dirt and started once again FRESH!!
3. Surprise Planning - Let it be a surprise!
4. Got my membership approved for the Software Testing Club
5. Came across awesome Software testing Cartoons at http://cartoontester.blogspot.com
and many other things which I cannot mention here... ;)
Looking ahead at the weekend...
